Default Divorce

Sometimes the world moves too fast and you miss a date, or you are overwhelmed with the idea of going to court and you hope it will just go away. This type of avoidance will usually end up in a default judgment.

A default judgment basically means you did not oppose the requests of the other party and therefore the other party gets all of their requests granted by “default”.
This is can be a terrible situation to be in. If this happened to you, you only have 30 days from the date of the judgment to take action. After that, the court isn’t in a position to help you.
If you have been defaulted, you need to move quickly and you need the help of a good attorney.
